Ajax legends Louis van Gaal, Frank Rijkaard, Patrick Kluivert, Edwin van Saar and Danny Blind did send birthday wishes to former Super Eagles winger Finidi George who turned 50 on Thursday.
The AFCON winner was celebrated by his former Ajax teammates and coach in a video on the club’s verified Twitter handle.

“Finidi, dear brother happy 50th birthday. I want to wish you a lot of happiness and health for you and your family,” Kluivert, who scored the winning goal in the 1-0 defeat of AC Milan said.
Before moving to Real Betis 1996, Finidi also won three Eredivisie trophies, two Johan Cruyff Shields, one Uefa Super Cup and one Intercontinental Cup with Ajax.
The ‘Gazelle’ was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations title in Tunisia.
