Chelsea on Sunday nighy delivered a spectacular performance which to defeat reigning UEFA European Champions Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.to emphatically win 2025 FIFA Club World Cup title at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
England international Cole Palmer was the standout performer, scoring twice in the first half and providing an assist for Joao Pedro, who added the third goal just before halftime. The goal was Pedro’s third in just his second start for the club.
The match was witnessed by a capacity crowd, including former U.S. President Donald Trump, who was among several high-profile guests at the stadium.
PSG, despite their pedigree, failed to mount a comeback, as Chelsea maintained control throughout the game to secure their second Club World Cup title.
The victory for Chelsea came as a shock to ardent football followers globally.
