Chelsea Wednesday night made history by becoming the first club to win all existing UEFA organised club competitions.
This was after Chelsea thrashed Real Betis 4-1 in the final of this season’s Conference League.
Champions League, Europa League and Conference League are three competitions anchored by UEFA and Chelsea have clinched them all.
The Action
Enzo Maresca’s men were sluggish and looked out of ideas for much of the first half, and were blown away early on by the brilliant pairing of Isco and Abde Ezzalzouli, with the Moroccan latching onto a superb pass by Isco to slot home the opener in the ninth minute.
Chelsea then came from a 1-0 half-time deficit to beat Real Betis 4-1 and lift the UEFA Conference League.
Enzo Fernandez, Nicolas Jackson, Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo struck in the second half to secure the Blues’ first trophy since 2021.
Few days ago, Chelsea secured Champions League place for next season after edging Nottingham Forest in the last Premier League encounter.
