President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged by the House of Representatives to immediately declare a state of emergency on the security situation in the country.
This was even as the House also summoned the National Security Adviser, Service Chiefs and the Director-General of NIGCOMSAT for briefing on security situation in the country.
The House resolution was part of the decision taken after a three- hour executive session, which also demanded immediate recruitment of personnel into the Police and military.
It lamented personnel in the services fall short of requirements.
