The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has fined Channels Television, AIT and Arise TV N3m each over “unprofessional coverage” of the EndSARS protests and crisis that followed it.
The NBC acting Director-General, Prof Armstrong Idachaba, announced the sanction at a press conference in Abuja on Monday.
Recall that the protest, which began on a peaceful note plunged into violence as witnessed in many states, the wanton destructions and looting of public and private properties.
