Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen returned to training with Napoli on Tuesday, after a spat with club’s Head Coach Luciano Spalletti.
Osimhen was asked to leave the team’s training session at their Castel di Sangro preseason camp after the Nigerian international appeared to have been angered by a clumsy tackle on him.
His unrestrained complaints in the wake of the challenge on him had prompted Spalletti to send him out of training on Monday.
However, the 23-year-old former Wolfsburg striker has resumed training with his teammates, and Napoli boss Spalletti quelled the tension in the team by speaking to the players, according to CalcioNapoli as per Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Partenopeans have already played two games in the preseason, emphatically beating Anaunia and Perugia.
Napoli play next on Wednesday against Adana Demirspor.
