Popular business consultant, Ubong King is dead.
The popular business consultant, who was also a renowned motivational speaker and security expert, breathed his last in Lagos yesterday.
King, who is also the president of the Ubong King Foundation reportedly died of Covid-19 at the age of 48.
Until his death, King was a serial entrepreneur who believed in mental awakening and reorientation as an important aspect of business lifestyle and breakthrough.
The security expert and founder of Protection Plus Security Limited was a former chairman of The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Chapter 206, Lagos.
He began his career as a volunteer guard in the protocol department of the church he was attending at the time.
King also worked as a consultant in a piggery, before venturing into the security industry.
He went on to start Protection Plus Security Limited.
In 2018, he set the pace as the convener of Thinkation- coined from Thinking and Education- a platform that brought together good heads all over the country and in Africa to mental awaken the profitable business mindset.
He is survived by his wife Ivy-King and four children.
