Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, son of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, has been called up to Portugal’s under-15 squad.
The U15 squad will compete at the Vlatko Marković tournament, taking place from 13 to 18 May in Croatia.
Portugal is scheduled to play four friendly matches, giving Cristiano Jr his first chance to wear the national shirt and showcase his talent on the international stage.
Reinventing Cristiano, A Football Star of Repute
Cristiano Jr, a talented forward with strong dribbling skills and a good eye for goal, will represent Portugal in the upcoming Vlatko Marković International Tournament in Croatia from 13 to 18 May.
He will be hoping to get game time and prove himself on the international stage.
Although he is eligible to play for five countries, Portugal, the United States, Spain, England, and Cape Verde, Ronaldo Jr seems set to follow in his father’s footsteps by choosing Portugal.
A Talented Father
Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers in history.
He has won five Ballon d’Or awards and holds numerous records, including the most goals in UEFA Champions League history.
The player is known for his incredible speed, powerful shots, athletic ability, and relentless work ethic.
Even at 40 years old, he continues to play at a high level.
Madrid Flop
Meanwhile, David Alaba’s camp has reportedly started working on his exit from Real Madrid, with plans already underway to find him a new club in the coming weeks.
There’s strong interest coming from Saudi Arabia, but Alaba is said to prefer staying in Europe for at least a couple more seasons.
Real Madrid has placed a price tag of between €6 million and €10 million on the experienced defender.
