Weeks after protests against police brutality were hijacked by hoodlums and arsonists, a second wave of the agitations have begun, albeit on Twitter.

The new #EndSARS trend is not unconnected to the order of the Department of State Services, DSS which directed the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN to freeze bank accounts of some #EndSARS key players

More so, it would be recalled that an #EndSARS key player Modupe Odele, had her international passport seized by the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS.

Although the Inspector-General of Police, Idris Mohammed, has disbanded the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS and set up the Special Weapons and Tactics SWAT, protesters still believe that the Federal Government is yet to learn lessons from the recent agitation that nearly descended into chaos.

The new wave of protests is regardless of the fact that no fewer than 18 states have also set up panels of inquiry to look into the allegations against some SARS officers.

Below are some tweets from the protest.

Their strategies to rubbish the #EndSARS movement didn't materialize as they wanted both constitutionally and conventionally.

Now, they are trying to name #EndSARS as a coup?!
