President Donald Trump has declared that the grown-up kids of ex-President Joe Biden will no longer enjoy the protections of the US Secret Service.
On Truth Social, Trump highlighted that Hunter Biden has enjoyed Secret Service guards for “quite a while now.”
“There are as many as 18 people on the Detail, which is ridiculous!” Trump wrote. “Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection.”
The nation’s leader also revealed that Ashley Biden, who is Hunter’s sister, will see her security detail canceled too.
Trump pointed out that 13 agents were assigned to watch over her safety.
Fox News shared that the Secret Service confirmed the update, stating they’re teaming up with the White House to wrap things up fast.
By law, former presidents and their husbands or wives get Secret Service protection for life.
Biden had permitted Barron Trump to maintain his Secret Service detail after turning 16.
