Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal finalised the line-up for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw next week, following a 3-2 win over Atalanta on Thursday.

Netherlands player of Nigerian descent, Arnaut Danjuma scored twice in the keenly contested encounter as the Yellow Submarines swept aside their Serie A opponents to progress to the knock-out phase of the elite competition.

Although, his compatriot, Chukwueze was an unused substitute in the game which saw the Europa League holders emerge runners-up in Group F behind Manchester United.

With Villarreal progressing to the last 16, it means the Champions League group has reached its climax and it remains to be seen which teams would do battle when the draws hold on December 13.

The first and second placed teams in each of the eight groups (A-H) will take their places in the first knockout stage, which will be played in 2022, with the first legs scheduled for 15/16/22/23 February, and the second legs being played on 8/9/15/16 March.

First placed teams includes: Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Lille, Juventus. While the second placed teams are: PSG, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Benfica, Villarreal, Red Bull Salzburg and Chelsea.

Who could Man Utd face in the Champions League last 16?
Manchester United cannot face any Premier League side, and will not be facing group winners Bayern Munich, Ajax, Real Madrid, Lille or Juventus. They could face PSG, Atletico Madrid, Sporting, Inter, Benfica, or Red Bull Salzburg.

Who could Chelsea face in the Champions League last 16?
As Group H runners-up, the Blues could potentially draw Bayern Munich, Ajax, Real Madrid, or Lille.

Who could Liverpool face in the Champions League last 16?
As Group B winners, Liverpool could face PSG, Sporting, Inter, Benfica, Red Bull Salzburg, or Villarreal.

Who could Man City face in the Champions League last 16?
As Group A winners, Manchester City could face Sporting, Inter, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Red Bull Salzburg, or Villarreal.

Who could Real Madrid face in the Champions League last 16?
Real Madrid, the winners of Group D, could face PSG, Sporting, Benfica, Red Bull Salzburg or Chelsea.

Who could PSG face in the Champions League last 16?
As Group A runners-up, the French giants could face Liverpool, Ajax, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United or Juventus.
