Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard bags a staggering amount of £64,785.60 (over 30 million naira) per minute for every game he plays according to Spanish outlet AS.
The Belgian has not been consistent for the Spanish side since his arrival in the summer of 2019 due to the series of injury that has hit him in quick succession.
Hazard managed just one goal and four assists in 22 appearances in all competitions last season. He has followed that up with two goals in six matches so far this time round.
The 29-year-old’s transfer fee was €100 million, and, as he has played 28 games to date, this works out to €72,000 per minute on the pitch in pounds this equals £64,785.60.
Hazard was forced to be on the sideline again, after he sustained a muscle injury against Alaves last week.
The latest of his injury woes comes after testing positive for COVID-19, which kept him out for weeks in November.
