Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday signed a contract extension with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
The new deal will ensure his continued stay at the Riyadh-based club.
Ronaldo disclosed this via his social media handle.
He said, “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is staying at @AlNassrFC until 2027.”
The new deal will tie the 40-year-old forward to the Saudi Arabian side up until 2027.
The new two-year contract runs until the end of the 2026–27 campaign, by which point Ronaldo will have surpassed his 42nd birthday and be in his 25th season as a professional player.
Ronaldo had featured for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus in his blistering career that saw him honoured as best footballer at various times and platforms.
