French Football Star, Kylian Mbappe, has now become Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time record goal scorer.
This was after he sealed his side’s win against Nantes in the Ligue 1 match on Saturday.
During that encounter, Mbappe scored the fourth goal, as PSG beat the visiting Nantes 4-2 at Le Parc des Princes.
The crucial goal was his 18th goal of the season and 201st overall for the club.
With the feat, the 24 year-old, edged past Edison Cavani’s record for the most goals scored for the Parisien club.
The French international joined the club in 2017, on an initial loan deal before it was made permanent for a €180million fee to AS Monaco.
Thereafter, Mbappe revealed his intention to win the Ballon d’Or award at the end of the season.
The 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled for October 16, 2023 at the Theater de Chatelet in France.
Mbappe is one of the top competitiors for the accolade, after winning the golden boot at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with eight goals and two assists.
Mbappe came second in the FIFA Best Player Awards, with Argentine icon Lionel Messi in first place.
Mbappe has scored 30 goals and provided eight assists in 30 games across all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain this season.
The Parisians are first in the French Ligue 1 with 63 points from 26 matches.
