Super Falcons have been handed a major boost at the ongoing four-nation invitational tournament in US after the duo of Asisat Oshoala and Onome Ebi reportedly joined the team’s camp ahead of their clash against Portugal.
Oshoola and Ebi had missed Thursday’s action as Randy Waldrum’s side fell to a shock 1-0 defeat to Jamaica.
Deneisha Blackwood scored the only goal of that encounter to end the Super Falcon’s seven-game unbeaten run at the BBVA Stadium.
With a number of first-team players were ruled out of the competition through injuries and Visa hitches, the arrival of the pair would help raise the girls’ morale in camp as they seek to bounce back from a disappointing defeat.
Waldrum had revealed in a post-match interview that there would few changes to the squad that faced the Reggae Girls when they file out against Portugal in the second game of the competition on Sunday.
The Super Falcons will then take on world champions and hosts United States of America in their last game.
