President of the Turkish Defense Industry Agency, Haluk Gorgun, has stated that Turkiye and Mozambique have signed a defense cooperation deal.
The deal was signed on Thursday, Gorgun announced via his X handle, formerly known as Twitter.
“We are determined to fly the flag of our defense industry in Africa,” Haluk Gorgun wrote on X.
The agreement was signed by Gorgun, and Mozambique’s Defense Minister, Cristovao Artur Chume, at the Agency in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
According to Gorgun, the agreement covers the principles of cooperation activities between the two countries.
Chume also visited Turkish defense companies and observed products.
