A public prosecutor in Uganda has withdrawn the case against opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine had been “accused of giving false details about his age while registering for a diploma at Makerere University.”
He has also in the past had his academic credentials questioned.
The politician ran against Uganda’s long-term President, Yoweri Museveni in last year’s elections and ‘complained of fraud.’
He is also a fierce critic of the President.
