The United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, on Wednesday, commissioned the ‘American Corner’ in the Lekki area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
The technology enhances the Biden Administration’s US Strategy toward Sub-Saharan Africa, aiming to propel digital transformation and cultivate an inclusive digital ecosystem.
Located in Lagos, the creative and tech-enabled American space strives to nurture young entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity in Nigeria.
Blinken, accompanied by other US government representatives and Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani, inaugurated the space.
This visit is a component of Blinken’s ongoing tour across Africa.
