Nigerian star, Emmanuel Dennis has been included in the Premier League Team of the Week, following his impressive debut appearance for the Hornets on Saturday.
Dennis scored and grabbed an assist to help Watford beat Aston Villa 3-2 at the Vicarage Road upon their return to the English top-flight.
His performance earned him a spot in the squad as put together by statistics website Who scored.com.
“The third Premier League debutant to feature in the first team of the week of the season, Emmanuel Dennis played a key role in Watford’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa on Saturday. Dennis scored his first goal in English football with just 10 minutes on the clock and turned provider three minutes before the break for Ismaila Sarr, those coming from five shots and three key passes, respectively. The 23-year-old joined Watford from Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge this summer.
