Latest reports from England has revealed that Nigerian-English player, Noni Madueke, has officially joined Arsenal from Chelsea.
The club reportedly got the Chelsea winger in a deal worth £52 million.
According to reports, the Gunners will pay an initial £48.5 million, with a further £3.5 million in performance-related add-ons.
At 23, Madueke signed a five-year contract, becoming Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard.
Versatile Winger
An England international with seven senior caps, Madueke is primarily a right winger but is also capable of playing on the left flank.
Arsenal believe his versatility and attacking prowess will significantly bolster their frontline.
London Moves
His transfer marks a continuing trend of players moving directly between the two London rivals.
Madueke is now the seventh player in the past six years to join Arsenal from Chelsea, following the likes of Kepa, Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz, Jorginho, Willian, and David Luiz.
Madueke made 92 appearances for Chelsea after joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 for £29 million, scoring 20 goals.
He played a vital role in the Blues’ UEFA Conference League triumph last season and was also part of their Club World Cup-winning squad in the United States.
