Officers of the Nigerian police have fired teargas at #EndSARS protesters in Abuja the nation’s capital as Nigerians continue agitations against police brutality and extra-judicial killings.
The protesters were intercepted at the John Kennedy Street as they attempt to march through the back gate of the Presidential villa.
Some other agitators who had gathered at Power House in Asokoro were also dispersed by tear gas.
There is also the presence of security personnel stationed at the popular Aya roundabout in Abuja as well as at the front of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) headquarters.
