Nigeria’s representatives, Rivers Hoopers, at the ongoing Basketball Africa League (BAL) Season 5 in Rabat, the Moroccan capital, will on Tuesday face Egyptian giants Al Ittihad Alexandria on Match Day 3.
The KingsMen, as the Nigerian basketball stars are fondly called, have a date with Al Ittihad in a clash for the top spot in the Kalahari Conference.
The six-time Nigerian basketball champions are aiming to preserve their unbeaten run, having won their previous two matches against Stade Malien and hosts FUS Rabat.
Similarly, 16-time Egyptian champions Al Ittihad will be battling to maintain their winning streak.
Rivers Hoopers finished as the third-best team during last season’s competition.
