The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has assured Nigerians of a steady supply of Petroleum products.
The assurance was against the backdrop of panick buying of petrol following the emergence of queues at petrol stations.
Speaking to NAN on Monday, the group general manager of NNPC public affairs division, Kennie Obateru explained that the queue was due to curfews imposed on some states following violence that trailed the EndSARS protest.
According to him, the curfew affected the free movement of vehicles for the supply of the products.
He however assured assured that normalcy would soon be restored in the supply of petroleum products.
It would be recalled that the governors of Lagos, Plateau, Kaduna, Kwara, Cross River, Edo, Osun, Rivers, Ekiti, Anambra imposed curfews to calm tensions after public and private property were looted and vandalised
The curfews led the temporary shutdown of economic activities including the transport of goods and products within states.
