Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Madaka, a nearby community to Kagara.
The development comes at a time when efforts are on to secure release of abducted school boys, teachers and other staff that were abducted at Kagara a few days ago.
The fresh attack, according to TheCable took place at about 2pm when armed bandits waylaid villagers en route to a marriage ceremony along Madaka-Kagara road.
They went on to ambush another set of people returning from Madaka market.
Meanwhile Niger state police command is yet to make any comment concerning the latest incident.
