Unknown gunmen have reprtedly abducted the mother of Konbowei Benson, the Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Mrs Betinah Benson.
The news which broke around mid-day, Wednesday, informed that the abductors were dressed in military uniform.
It was also gathered that the mother of the SSG was kidnapped on Tuesday night at her residence in the Old Assembly Quarters, Yenagoa.
Meanwhile, the State Police Command is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
