Taxis in Morocco are getting a digital upgrade, with drivers now having access to multimedia interactive screens in their cars.

The Taxi Sahbi tablet, developed by the company Itechia, features a host of services that are set to redefine the transport habits of Moroccans.

The tablet provides taxi drivers with a range of services, including phone calls, GPS navigation, electronic wallet integration, and fare collection applications. It also serves as a platform for advertisers to reach a new audience.

According to Fahd Mekouar, the Managing Director of iTechia, the tablet is already being used by around 800 taxis, and the company plans to expand its presence to other cities in Morocco and beyond.

In addition to the tablet, a mobile application has been developed to efficiently manage supply and demand.

This intuitive app allows customers to easily request a taxi, saving them time and convenience. Customers can even call for a taxi before leaving their office, ensuring a seamless and punctual journey.

Both customers and taxi drivers are thrilled with the new technology. Customers appreciate the convenience of free calls and internet access, which enables them to stay informed about traffic conditions.

They can also provide feedback on their journey using a barcode system. Taxi drivers, on the other hand, benefit from improved communication with passengers and the ability to navigate through traffic efficiently.

The introduction of the Taxi Sahbi tablet and the accompanying mobile application marks a significant advancement in the taxi industry in Morocco.

With enhanced services and improved customer experience, taxis are now keeping up with the times and providing a more modern and convenient transport option for Moroccans.
