Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, a.k.a Jenifa, has been nominated as one of the potential running mates to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.
Akindele’s name followed among the six shortlisted names by the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Other shortlisted names include the former governorship aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour; former Senatorial candidate for Lagos East, Yeye Shobajo, David Kolawole Vaughan known as DAKOVA, and Engr. Teslim Balogun.
This is coming after the Akindele’s colleague, Tonto Dikeh, was selected recently as African Democratic Congress (ADC), deputy governorship candidate in Rivers State.
