A woman football fan – name not disclosed, celebrated Argentina’s World Cup victory by dancing completely naked in the centre of the nation’s capital Buenos Aires.

This is as the country’s World Cup celebrations was marred by the death of a 24-year-old fan, after he fell through a roof ‘jumping up and down’ celebrating during Tuesday’s victory parade after their dramatic penalty shootout win over France.

Lionel Messi and the rest of Argentina’s players delivered the nation’s first World Cup triumph since 1986 and it caused millions in Argentina to throw parties.

But after Tuesday’s bus parade was cut short due to safety concerns of fans jumping onto the top of the bus with the players, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health detailed how another fan died in hospital on Monday due to a head injury picked up while celebrating.

Then, a trending clip shows the woman parading unabashed in front of other merrymakers, including families with children.

Her bizarre behaviour was filmed near Buenos Aires’ iconic Obelisk monument – the same spot where Diego Maradona promised to take his clothes off 12 years earlier if his nation triumphed in South Africa.

She went on to perform a sexy dance in just a pair of sunglasses – although most of the thousands of jubilant fans partying around her seemed more interested in chanting and waving their flags than watching her astonishing display.

The new show of nakedness came after two Argentinians made headlines around the world for going topless in the stands at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium and risking falling foul of strict local rules as they celebrated their country’s thrilling penalty shootout win over France on Sunday.

They were later identified as two models called Milu and Noe who had artists paint their breasts especially for the occasion.

Milu and Noe, who now refer to themselves as ‘The Topless Girls’, risked falling foul of strict rules in Qatar where women are banned from wearing revealing or tight clothing.

Meanwhile, The French national football team has returned from Qatar to large crowds in Paris, after their heroic defeat to Argentina in the World Cup final.

It was about the same period record breaking Morocco’s squad were received in a heroes welcome.

Kylian Mbappé, the French star who scored a hat-trick in what was one of greatest finals in the tournament’s history, was front and centre.

The players and officials greet fans who let off fireworks on the Place de la Concorde in Paris upon returning home after the World Cup final in Qatar, on December 19, 2022.

French fans were heartbroken on Sunday as Les Bleus lost the World Cup title to Argentina 4-2 in penalties, after a 3-3 draw.

One of the most thrilling finals in the tournament’s 92-year history finished 3-3 through extra time, with Messi scoring twice and Kylian Mbappé completing a hat trick.

In contrast with 2018 when France won the World Cup in Russia, the team did not receive a parade on the Champs-Elysees.

But to supporters, the location of the reception hardly mattered as they treated Les Bleus to a warm welcome home in the winter evening cold. They lit flares, waved flags and sang “La Marseillaise” as the players and coach Didier Deschamps emerged on the balcony of the Hotel de Crillon.

In his first message published on Instagram and Twitter following Sunday’s defeat, Mbappe posted a photo of himself, head down, behind the World Cup trophy with the message: “We will be back.”
