World record holder Tobi Amusan on Wednesday won her heat in the women’s 100m hurdles at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Amusan came tops in 12.49 seconds, compared to United States’ Alaysha Johnson who finished 2nd with a time of 12.61s, while Jamaica’s Janeek Brown came 3rd with a time of 12.84s

With her performance, the Nigerian track and field sensation has now qualified for the semi-final of the event.
