Real Madrid have now revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold has joined the Spanish La Liga giants on a six-year deal.
The club, in a statement, said the England international signed the contract on Friday, marking the end of his illustrious Anfield career.
The club have also announced that the 26-year-old right-back will be tied to the Spanish giants from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031.
Part of the statement reads, “Real Madrid C.F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will be linked to our club for the next six seasons.”
A Player With Line-up Of Trophies
Alexander-Arnold leaves Liverpool with nine major trophies.
They include 2 Premier League titles, 1 UEFA Champions League, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 FA Cup, 2 EFL Cups, and 1 FA Community Shield.
A product of Liverpool’s academy, Alexander-Arnold became a fan favourite for his creativity, leadership, and technical brilliance.
He debuted for England in 2018 and has featured in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, as well as UEFA Euro 2024.
Individual Honours
His individual honours include, FIFA FIFPro World 11 (2020), UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2018/19, 2021/22), Premier League Team of the Season (2018/19, 2019/20, 2021/22), Premier League Young Player of the Season (2019/20).
He is expected to join Real Madrid’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, starting 14 June 2025.
