Team Nigeria’s outfit wowed viewers across the world and has been ranked one of the best during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympics in China.
Nigeria’s outfit embraced the Nigerian culture as Seun Adigun, Nigeria’s first African Summer & Winter Olympian, led the team’s parade.
Wearing the green and white colors of their flag from head to toe, Nigeria walked in style during the opening ceremony of the games.
Adigun is attending the games as an International Olympic Committee Athletes Commission candidate and also serves as Team Nigeria’s doctor.
Team Nigeria joins 90 other countries participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics which is scheduled to take place from Thursday, February 4 until Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Nigeria will only be participating in one sport at the Winter Olympics and that is the Cross-country skiing men’s event.
French-born Nigerian Samuel Ikpefan will be the only hope for Team Nigeria to register a medal at the games.
