There are indications that Chelsea are in advanced talks with club legend Frank Lampard to return as Caretaker Coach until the end of the season.
This is happening two years after Lampard was sacked.
Specifically, he managed the club for 18 months before he was relieved in January 2021.
Report said Lampard was at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night to watch their goalless draw against Liverpool just 48 hours after Graham Potter was sacked.
With the latest move, Lampard might be in charge for their next game at Wolves on Saturday this weekend.
Chelsea sacked Graham Potter on Sunday April 2, 2023, and gave the managerial role to Bruno Saltor on interim basis.
Saltor was in charge of the Wednesday’s night fixture where Chelsea were held to a goalless draw.
