Nigeria international, Emmanuel Dennis will not take part in Club Brugge’s Champions League group stage fixture against German Bundesliga side Dortmund at the Sidnal Iduna Park.
The head coach of the Belgian side, Philippe Clement during a press conference yesterday, announced that the 23-year-old has been dropped from the team.
“Dennis is not in the selection tomorrow, He is missing for disciplinary reason” he confirmed.
Dennis grabbed the headlines last season in the same competition after he netted a stunning brace against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu in Spain.
The former FC Zorya has scored in the European campaign this season and his presence would be missed today having impressed in match day 3 against same opponent.
Dennis made his debut for the Super Eagles on 10 September 2019 in a 2–2 friendly draw to Ukraine , coming on as a 82nd-minute substitute for Samuel Chukwueze .
