Education Minister of Ontario, a Province in Canada, Stephen Lecce has expressed concern that thousands of educators will lose their jobs if the Province mandate COVID-19 vaccines for all education workers.
According to Lecce, an estimated number of about 50,000 people will be affected if the province goes ahead with such policy making worse for the province that is already facing a shortfall of teachers.
“Any unvaccinated staff member has to provide proof of a negative test to enter a school.
“The 50,000 figure includes education workers who are unvaccinated or won’t disclose their status.
“Earlier this month Lecce said about 80 per cent of school staff have attested to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” Lecce said.
