The National President, Pst Ule Williams Glad on behalf of the National Executive Council and the entire members of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association has expressed gratitude to God for saving the life of its Grand Patron, the former President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
It was reported that the Ex-President’s convoy was involved in a ghastly auto crash which claimed the lives of some of his aides and some others injured, while returning from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport to his house in Abuja.
However, it was gathered that the former President. Goodluck Jonathan is hail and hearty as he was seen at the National Hospital, Abuja where he visited some of the injured victims that were evacuated there.
In a statement, the president while giving God praise for saving the life of its beloved Grand patron, loving father and leader per excellence, called on road users to apply caution while using the roads to forestall avoidable accidents.
‘‘May the good lord continue to protect the life of our grand patron’’ Pastor Ule prayed.
