Undisputed heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, was hospitalised moments after he was declared winner against rival Tyson Fury.
Usyk had early Sunday morning defeated Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Speaking thereafter, Fury said both him and Usyk injured their jaw following the fierce fight.
Fury’s claim was reportedly confirmed after Usyk failed to show up for his post-fight press conference, as he needed his injuries attended to.
Usyk has now added the WBC title to his WBA, IBF and WBO belts.
