Ghana has now been officially selected to host the 2025 U20 West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone A and B Championships.
Confirming this latest development, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in a statement, said the tournament, scheduled to run from 15 to 30 June 2025, will feature top national U20 teams from across both zones.
Over two weeks, these young talents will compete fiercely, highlighting the spirit and unity of West African football.
This significant event underscores growing regional collaboration and a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of African football stars.
Among the participants will be Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, who are currently competing in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
