Turkish giant club, Galatasaray, have announced the permanent signing of football superstar Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The club, in a statement announcing on Thursday evening, said, “Professional football player Victor James Osimhen has been transferred following an agreement reached with his former club, SSCN Napoli S.p.A.
“As part of the agreement, a net transfer fee of 75.000.000 euros will be paid to the former club. Additionally, 10% of the profit from the player’s future sale will be paid to SSCN Napoli S.p.A.
“A four-year contract has been signed with the player, effective from the 2025–2026 season.
“According to the agreement, the player will receive a net annual guaranteed salary of 15.000.000 euros, a net loyalty bonus of 1.000.000 euros per season, and 5.000.000 euros per season for image rights.”
Most Expensive Signing
The deal makes Osimhen the most expensive player in Turkish football history, significantly exceeding the €25 million Beşiktaş paid Benfica for Kökçü this summer.
Galatasaray will present him, along with Leroy Sané, this Saturday ahead of the friendly against Lazio at the Ali Sami Yen Rams Park stadium.
The Nigerian international enjoyed an electric loan spell with Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions.
