Global investors, business executives, and policymakers have converged in Riyadh for the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), one of the world’s premier gatherings shaping the global investment agenda.
Held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth,” the four-day conference (October 27–30, 2025) at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center (KAICC) is bringing together world leaders to explore innovative ideas and sustainable pathways for global prosperity.
Organized by the FII Institute, the event convenes influential figures in finance, technology, and policy to engage in forward-looking discussions aimed at translating ideas into real-world impact.
Among the featured speakers are: Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, President, African Development Bank (AfDB); Sultan Alobaida, Chief Commercial Officer, King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC); Peter H. Diamandis, Board Member, FII Institute; Robert Wilt, CEO, Maaden; Abdullah Al Shaikh, Deputy Head, Corporate Finance, Riyad Bank; Brad Garlinghouse, CEO, Ripple.
Dr. Ould Tah is expected to share perspectives on unlocking Africa’s investment potential and advancing sustainable economic growth across the continent.
The FII9 program opened on October 27 with exclusive, invitation-only sessions where top investors, CEOs, and policymakers engaged in confidential dialogue to define the key priorities for the main conference. Days 1 and 2 (October 28–29) feature high-level panels and discussions on emerging investment opportunities, the future of technology, and global economic realignment. The closing day, October 30, designated “Investment Day,” will focus on strategic partnerships, deal-making, and next-generation innovation showcases.
The FII Institute described this year’s theme as an invitation to confront the world’s economic paradoxes, such as the tension between progress and sustainability, as opportunities for renewed growth.
Partners and collaborators for FII9 include top consulting firms McKinsey & Company, EY, Accenture, and Bain Consulting, alongside global media outlets like CNN Business, Bloomberg, Arab News, and Asharq Bloomberg.
Since its inception in 2017, the Future Investment Initiative has evolved into a global platform driving collaboration between investors, innovators, and policymakers, with the shared goal of advancing humanity through sustainable development and innovation.
