The President of the ECOWAS Commission, H. E. Dr. Omar Alieu Touray has accredited new Ambassadors to ECOWAS at the headquarters of the Commission in Abuja, Nigeria.
The accredited envoys inc;ude H.E. Ms. Annika Hahn-Englund, Ambassador of Sweden to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Ms. Cristian Munduate, Country Representative UNICEF to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ms Joanna Tarnawska, Ambassador Extraordinary and Pleni-potentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Federal Republic of Nigeria among others.
Touray, discussed existing and new areas of cooperation with the envoys regarding the four strategic objectives of the current administration after accrediting them to ECOWAS.
Also, he guaranteed that ECOWAS will continue to develop and expand the areas of association and collaboration with their countries to ensure the shared prosperity for the citizens of the region.
