All Igbo sons and daughters living in Benue State have been urged to troop out in unprecedented numbers to vote for Rt. Hon. Titus Uba and all the State House Assembly candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the March 18 governorship election.
This clarion call was made recently by the Hon.Azubuike Egbu, Principal Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom, on Politics.
Hon Azubuike Egbu popularly known as Zubis called on all his kinsmen to mobilize in their numbers and cast their votes for the candidate of PDP in the forthcoming poll and also monitor collation of the votes.
Hon. Egbu further commended the Governor Samuel Ortom for accepting the award of Agu-Na-eche Mba 1 of Benue State given to him by the Igbos in Benue, as well as protecting them from external attacks.
According to Hon. Egbu, the unalloyed support Gov. Samuel Ortom gave our Igbo brother, Mr Peter Obi in the February 25 presidential election is further validation of the necessary support, security of lives and property of the Igbos by Gov. Ortom against armed militia and invaders.
He added that he believes the PDP governorship candidate Rt. Hon Titus Uba will emulate the giant strides of Gov. Ortom.
