Four top African footballers – Mohammed Salah of Liverpool and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen will face each other in the group A stage of this season’s UEFA Champions League. Rangers and Ajax complete the pack.
While Salah is from Egypt, Osimhen is a Nigerian.
Also, newly recruited Sadio Mane at Bayern Munich and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Barcelona will tango in group C. Inter Milan and Victoria Plizen are other group members.
Mane has his origin at Senegal and Aubameyang play at home with Gabonese National team.
After 2022/23 season draw on Thursday evening at Istanbul, Turkey, there virtually tough expectations in other groups except for group H where PSG with stars like Lionel Messi, Kilian Mbappe and Neymar will lock horns with Juventus.
