The security situation in Anambra State may not be getting any better soon, after unknown gunmen attacked the headquarters of Aguata Local Government Area of the state on Thursday.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo hails from Aguata LGA.
According to reports, some of the buildings in the premises were set ablaze during the attack in the town.
As at the time of filing this report, security officials were said to have arrived at the scene of the incident to put the situation under control.
Anambra state has been plagued with pockets of daring attacks on government facilities in recent times. The attacks are mostly linked to ‘unknown gunmen’.
