Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has formally joined Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray on a season long loan from Napoli.
This was disclosed by the club through a statement on their website.
Part of the statement reads, “The announcement has sent jubilations down the streets of Istanbul as the club acquires one of its biggest name players in recent years. The Nigeria international will earn a net amount of €6 million during his time in Turkey.
“The football player will be paid a net seasonal salary of 6,000,000 euros for the 2024-2025 season.”
The reigning African Footballer of the Year put pen to paper on a €6m annual salary on Wednesday.
