Despite spirited efforts especially at first half, German Bundesliga’s side Borussia Dortmund bowed to Real Madrid 0-2 in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final on Saturday night.
With the match outcome, Real Madrid handled by Carlo Ancelotti won the 15th Champions League title.
Goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior did the job in the second half of the encounter.
That was after Dortmund wasted begging opportunities to take charge of the game.
It was a match that recorded historical feats.
Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham, at 20 won his first-ever Champions League trophy in his first-ever UCL final appearance, against his former club, in his home country at Wembley Stadium.
