Suspected hoodlums have set ablaze the Apapa Iganmu Police Station at Orile-Iganmu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the Orile-Iganmu Local Government Area, Ayo Micheal said the incident occurred around 09.45 am on Tuesday.
According to him: “The burnt Station is in Apapa Iganmu but serviced both Iganmu community in Apapa Iganmu and Orile Community in Coker/Aguda.”
There have been growing concerns that the nationwide #EndSARS peaceful protests have been hijacked by hoodlums, a development which makes many doubt the legitimacy of the agitations amid tensions of possible military interventions.
