The commercial area of Ahmadu Bello and other streets in Jos, the Plateau state capital are on fire, after hoodlums disrupted the protest in the city.

According to the videos that have surfaced online, it is seen that the business premises have been deserted while some aggrieved youths are engaging the hoodlums.

However, some other #ENDSARS protesters in Jos have taken to their twitter handle to say that they have never been to the affected areas to protest, adding that the so called hoodlums are only trying to cause chaos and ruin the peaceful protests going on in the state.

They want to act the same Abuja, Lagos and Benin kind of scripts in Jos. Even the police men can testify that no protester have ever been to terminus to protest & nothing will ever take us there. We're smart & we know what we're doing oh. #JosProtest #JosEndSarsProtest #endsars

— Selzing (@Selzinng) October 20, 2020

Let it be on record, what happened around terminus-gangare in Jos was not an #EndSARS protest. They claimed to be #ProSARS then went rogue on the public so @PLSGov “may” announce curfew & mitigate #JosEndSarsProtest. #EndSARS protest in Jos has been peaceful. They have failed

THE TRUTH
Protests in jos has been conducted under peaceful manners, but there were signs that the government wanted to put a stop to it,Jos protesters never had a plan to protest or barricade anywhere close to ahmadu bello way or terminus, cause we knew #JosEndSarsProtest
