Coach Sean Dyche is the new man with the task of taking Everton out of relegation in the English Premier League (EPL) after the club settled for him as new the manager.
His appointment is coming few days after Chelsea legend Frank Lampard was sacked from same position.
His sack became imminent as the club remained in relegation zone, particularly 19th position of the league log.
Dyche spent nine-and-a-half years with Burnley before he was sacked by the Clarets in 2022.
According to Daily Mail, the 51-year-old coach will be officially confirmed as the new boss in the next 24 hours, and will be joined by Ian Woan and Steve Stone as his assistants, having previously worked with him at Turf Moor.
Former Toffees boss Sam Allardyce was another considered, as was Davide Ancelotti, the son of ex-Goodison gaffer Carlo, while former Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl was also on the shortlist.
Dyche first game is against league leaders Arsenal at Goodison Park on February 4, 2023.
The Toffees then make the short trip across Stanley Park to face Liverpool at Anfield nine days later.
