Nigeria’s Falconets have been drawn against Benin Republic in the semi-finals of the maiden 2023 WAFU B U-20 women’s tournament in Ghana.
The semi-final pairing was confirmed on the Twitter handle of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday, May 29, 2023.
Hosts, Ghana, will take on Burkina Faso in the second semi-final.
Both semis will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
To get to the last four of the tournament, the Falconets topped Group B after winning all their three games.
They opened their campaign with a 7-0 win against Niger Republic before thrashing Togo 6-0 in their second game.
On Sunday, the Falconets ended the group phase with a 3-0 win against Burkina Faso.
Benin Republic finished second behind Ghana after recording one win and one defeat.
