A Nigerian Joel Eleojo Adams has been commissioned as an Aero-Systems Specialist Engineer with the rank of a Flying Officer in the British Royal Air Force.
Mr. Adams, a native of Abejukolo in the Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State graduated with first-class degree in Electrical Engineering from the Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State.
He was a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship for Innovation and Development under the former President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
After completing a Master’s degree in Control Systems at the famous Imperial College London, he went further to obtain his PhD in Industrial Systems and Manufacturing Engineering from the prestigious University of Cambridge.
Joel began his career at Ford Motors UK as the BOM Lead Project Analyst for Battery Electric Vehicles.
He was made a British citizen shortly after his commissioning.
